Karmik is a recruitment and applicant management platform that enables organizations to manage hiring activities, candidate applications, recruitment workflows, communication, and onboarding processes.

These Terms apply to:

• Candidates and job applicants • Referral users • Interview participants • Users accessing recruitment portals powered by Karmik

By:

• Visiting a career page, • Creating a candidate profile, • Applying for a job, • Uploading documents, • Participating in recruitment activities,

you confirm that:

• You are legally eligible to use the platform, • The information provided by you is accurate, • You agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

Users must:

• Be legally permitted to seek employment under applicable laws, • Provide accurate and truthful information, • Use the platform only for lawful recruitment-related purposes.

Karmik reserves the right to restrict or terminate access if false, misleading, or unauthorized information is identified.

Where candidate accounts or portals are available, users are responsible for:

• Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials, • Restricting unauthorized access to their accounts, • Ensuring information remains updated, • Managing activity conducted under their account.

Users must immediately notify the organization if unauthorized access or suspicious activity is detected.

By submitting a job application, candidates acknowledge that:

• Submission of an application does not guarantee employment, • Recruitment decisions remain solely at the discretion of the hiring organization, • Additional interviews, assessments, or verifications may be required, • The hiring organization may contact references or conduct permitted background checks.

Candidates are responsible for ensuring all submitted information is accurate and complete.

Users agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information, • Impersonate another individual, • Upload fraudulent documents, • Misrepresent qualifications, experience, or certifications.

Karmik and the hiring organization reserve the right to reject applications or remove access if inaccurate information is detected.

Candidates may upload:

• Resumes/CVs, • Certifications, • Cover letters, • Portfolios, • Supporting employment documents.

Users confirm that:

• They own or are authorized to share uploaded content, • Uploaded files do not violate intellectual property or legal rights, • Uploaded materials do not contain harmful or malicious software.

By using Karmik-powered recruitment services, candidates consent to receive:

• Application updates, • Interview invitations, • Recruitment notifications, • Offer-related communication, • System-generated alerts and reminders.

Communication may occur through:

• Email, • SMS, • Phone calls, • Candidate portals, • Integrated communication platforms.

Karmik may use AI-assisted technologies to support recruitment operations, including:

• Resume parsing, • Skill extraction, • Candidate-job matching, • Workflow automation, • Recruitment analytics.

These tools are intended to assist recruitment teams and improve operational efficiency.

Final hiring decisions are made by authorized human stakeholders.

Karmik does not guarantee selection, ranking priority, or employment outcomes based on automated systems.

Users must not:

• Use the platform for unlawful purposes, • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, • Interfere with platform functionality, • Upload malicious code or harmful content, • Scrape or copy platform data without authorization, • Use automated bots or scripts to manipulate applications, • Engage in fraudulent recruitment activity.

Violation of these terms may result in suspension, restricted access, or legal action.

All platform-related content, including:

• Platform design, • Branding, • Workflows, • User interface, • Logos, • Software, • Text and graphics,

are owned by or licensed to Karmik and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit platform content without prior written permission.

Karmik may integrate with third-party platforms or services including:

• Video interview tools, • Assessment platforms, • Background verification vendors, • Email and communication providers, • Cloud hosting providers, • Job boards and referral systems.

Karmik is not responsible for:

• Third-party service availability, • External platform policies, • Third-party security practices, • Content hosted outside Karmik systems.

Users may be subject to additional third-party terms and policies.

Use of candidate information is governed by the applicable Privacy Policy.

Candidates are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy to understand:

• How information is collected, • How data is processed, • Data retention practices, • Candidate rights and protections.

Where permitted by applicable law and required for recruitment purposes, organizations may conduct:

• Employment verification, • Education verification, • Reference checks, • Identity verification, • Criminal record checks (where legally permitted).

Additional candidate consent may be requested where required.

Candidates participating in interviews or assessments agree:

• To conduct themselves professionally, • Not to engage in abusive or discriminatory behavior, • Not to record interviews or assessments without permission, • Not to share confidential assessment content publicly.

The hiring organization reserves the right to discontinue recruitment participation if inappropriate conduct occurs.

Karmik aims to maintain platform availability and operational reliability; however, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

The platform may occasionally experience:

• Scheduled maintenance, • Technical interruptions, • Network failures, • Third-party service disruptions.

Karmik is not liable for temporary service interruptions beyond reasonable control.

Use of the platform does not guarantee:

• Employment, • Interviews, • Job offers, • Candidate selection, • Hiring outcomes.

All recruitment decisions remain solely with the hiring organization.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Karmik shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages, • Loss of employment opportunity, • Data loss caused by user negligence, • Recruitment decisions made by organizations, • Third-party service disruptions, • Technical interruptions beyond reasonable control.

Users access and use the platform at their own discretion and risk.

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Karmik, its affiliates, employees, partners, and clients from claims, damages, liabilities, or losses arising from:

• Violation of these Terms, • Misuse of the platform, • Submission of false information, • Unauthorized activities, • Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

Karmik or the hiring organization may suspend or terminate access to the platform if:

• Terms are violated, • Fraudulent activity is detected, • Security risks arise, • Platform misuse occurs.

Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary for security or compliance purposes.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws and jurisdiction determined by the operating organization or service provider.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts or legal authorities.

Karmik reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions periodically.

Updated versions will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
